If only depression was simple enough that it could be cured by supplements. Alas, it’s not, but that doesn’t mean a supplement can’t nudge you closer to a more content state.
Interestingly, the best supplements for depression are often those that address other issues (such as sleep or health deficiencies). But there are a handful of supplements that show some efficacy for depression, although results are mixed. You absolutely have to make sure you don’t mix too many supplements and medications willy-nilly though, as adverse effects and interactions abound.
